My career in music and entertainment began behind the camera, photographing my father's live performances. This early exposure sparked both a passion for live music photography and a love of working in challenging low-light environments.

That passion led me to join local street press publication Reverb Magazine, where I quickly discovered my enthusiasm for music journalism. Beginning with album and single reviews I progressed to interviewing artists ahead of tours and album releases, conducting in-depth conversations about their creative projects and careers. Career highlights included covering press events for internationally renowned artists such as Billy Joel and Aerosmith, interviewing touring artists one-on-one, and working alongside Australian rock icons including Grinspoon and The Living End.

After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, I joined the team at Eddie's Attic, one of the United States' most respected independent live music venues. Hosting between two and four performances daily, seven days a week, the venue provided extensive experience across event marketing, artist relations, contract administration, tour logistics, and live event execution. My responsibilities included promoting ticketed events online and throughout the Atlanta market, coordinating with artists and tour managers, managing performance logistics, and producing video content during soundchecks for the venue's collaborative project, The Attic Sounds. I had the opportunity to work with artists including Otis Redding Jr., Sharon Osbourne and Molly Ringwald, while contributing to the operation of the venue's renowned Open Mic Nights and biannual Open Mic Shootout competition, which has launched the careers of numerous emerging artists. Eddie's Attic has played an important role in the careers of artists such as John Mayer and Justin Bieber, further cementing its reputation as an influential venue within the American music industry.

I also travelled once a year to sponsor the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Festival in Las Vegas to which I was also one of the Live Burlesque Performance togs.

Following my time at Eddie's Attic, I joined the team at RCS Productions, where I worked alongside leading international talent agencies including Creative Artists Agency, William Morris Endeavor, United Talent Agency and Paradigm Talent Agency. This role involved supporting performances and events featuring internationally recognised artists including The Beach Boys, Pat Benatar, Barenaked Ladies, Boz Scaggs, Melissa Etheridge and Sheryl Crow, providing invaluable experience working with major touring artists and industry professionals. Alongside my professional career, I studied Music Business and Marketing at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, achieving a 4.0 GPA. I later returned to Australia to complete my Diploma of Music Business, further strengthening my expertise across artist management, marketing, touring and the broader music industry.

Eddie's Attic Atlanta Georgia

After relocating to the USA I was based in Atlanta Georgia. I worked a music marketing gig over at Eddie's Attic based in Atlanta Georgia. A ticketed venue doing 2-4 live artist performances a day 7 days a week. Eddie's Attic was known to have the smallest greenroom in America and was quite proud of it. I would do a lot of posters, go through a lot of contracts and riders and in need of crossing out a lot the venue could not provide.

Monday's saw an open mic night that saw a baby Justin Bieber, John Mayer perform before their fame and more. We'd put on a bi-annual Open Mic Shootout where I scavenged for prizes from local businesses but also recording studios and music industry business. A notable winner of the open mic night was John Mayer who was coincidently also working as the door guy for Eddie's Attic. The owner/operator of Eddie's Attic is also a talent buyer for Live Nation so had the roster for touring artists at his finger tips.

RCS Productions Talent Acquisition

Working for RCS Productions was the highlight of my USA stint. Getting experience from getting artists, going through their artist contracts then re-writing them for our clients, working alongside artist managers, agents, crew and of course artists on show day.

My music industry spans from taking photographs at LIVE concerts and festivals to then doing album reviews for print press media to then interviewing and writing up editorials for print press media. I completed a TAFE Marketing Course in 2013 before interviewing artists for Reverb Magazine and The Brag
