A mistress to both Elvis and JFK, close friend of Bettie Page, and the woman Russ Meyer and Hugh Hefner agreed to be one of the sexiest women of all time — hell, she even recorded an album with Jack White! Tempest Storm is the undisputed Queen of Burlesque and one of America's greatest ever sex icons. This revealing documentary tells the controversial life story of a performer, who continues to titillate at 87 years old, inspiring a new generation of burlesque dancers who idolise her.

The film follows Tempest preparing for her final and most important act: to repair broken relationships. Exploring her dramatic rise to fame and her swift fall from grace, the documentary bears all, presenting never- before-seen footage and interviews that seamlessly merge her dramatic past with an emotional cinéma vérité story unfolding in present time.

Though her performances often involved physical exposure, her personal life has been very private in contrast.

Tempest has now chosen to tell her story for the first time, guaranteeing this film will be her most revealing effort yet.

''Tempest Storm' is a portrait of a taboo-breaker, a woman who has always walked her own path. Her journey is entertaining but her message is profound.'

– Richard Crouse, CTV News.

'Often poignant and occasionally heartbreaking, Storm (who still looks good and can work a shimmy despite breaking a hip a while back), sticks her chin out and quotes Muhammad Ali: 'I'm still the greatest.'

– Linda Barnard, The Toronto Star.
